Jason is excited about his first time ever to race at the Chili Bowl, and excited about driving for Steve Smith in one of his super built Midgets. Jason says, Agetting to drive a midget is exciting, but to get the opportunity to drive for a well known team like Steve Smith is super exciting.@
Sides, who competed with the National Sprint Tour in 2006, will rejoin the World of Outlaws for the full tour schedule in 2007.
Immediately following the Chili Bowl, Jason will leave for Sydney, Australia for the annual AOutlaws Down Under@ three day event at Paramatta City Raceway. Within just a few hours after landing back at home Jason and crew will head down to Florida for the Winternationals at Eastbay Raceway, then on to Volusia for the start of the World of Outlaws season.
The Sides Motorsports team logged 74 starts in 2006, with 4 wins, 27 top 5's, and 48 top ten finishes.
Jason is also excited about the new look for 2007, as the number 7s will sport an all new look on the Wetherington Tractor Service (WTS), Maxim. Don Ott will be supplying the horsepower with additional support coming from VRP Shocks, FSR Racing Products, Kawasaki of Memphis, Simpson Race Products, BR Motorsports, YAK Graphics, Weld Racing, Arctic Cat Motorsports, Dancer Logistics, and WRT Web Designs.
