Jason Sides is ready for the inaugural 2006 World Of Outlaws event at Tulare, California Friday evening February 24, 2006.

Sides, from Bartlett, TN, will be piloting the Sides Motorsports entry when the new World Of Outlaws kicks off an ambitious 2006 schedule this weekend. After racing throughout Florida in late January and early February, Sides is anxious to get back to the track with his MAXIM Chassis that is powered by Don Ott Racing Engines that turn the Weld Racing Wheels supported by VRP Shocks.

Sides picked up a $2,500 victory in Florida at Volusia Speedway Park on February 6, 2006, winning the opening event of the 35th Annual Winter Nationals at the fast Barberville half mile track. Sides started sixth in the 25 lap A Main and steadily drove to the front of the field for his first win of 2006. Sides topped 30 teams from 12 different states in the USCS sanctioned event. He was also honored as the JE Pistons Top Gun Award Winner for his performance on February 6th. Sides left Florida as the early season USCS point leader.

Sides is excited about the opportunity to race with the World Of Outlaws in 2006, and will be bringing additional national exposure to marketing partners Wetherington Tractor Service of Plant City, Florida and Mafia Motorsports of Middleton, Wisconsin.

Look for a newly designed website that will follow Sides’ progress throughout the 2006 season to be released very soon.
